Exhibition of Glendale Life

May 1st to September 18th: A display of Glendale life focussing on History of the pier/Steamers; The Glendale Martyr; The Clearances; Religion; Napier Commission; War Experiences; The Glendale Mill; Ships lost in the vicinity; Glendale people; Glendale estate formation; Lovat Scouts and Borrodale School. Café.
At Borrodale School. Open Monday to Saturday. 11am till 4pm.

Dunvegan Gala & 10k

Late May TBC : Fun run, stalls & attractions, barbecue, bouncy castle, raft race, etc., at the Castle Car Park.

Glendale Homecoming

July 21st-24th : A series of events and exhibitions celebrating the history of Glendale and its people. Includes a ceilidh gathering on the Friday night at Borrodale School and a ceilidh dance at the Community Hall on the Saturday night:

Dunvegan Show

July (always the last Saturday) : A chance to see the finest of Skye's livestock, agriculture, crafts, home-produce and horticulture. At Dunvegan Primary School.

Glendale Craft 'Taster' Workshop

Dunvegan Silver Chanter

August TBC : Professional bagpipe competition hosted at Dunvegan Castle.

Glendale Craft Fair

November 6th : Fantastic firework display over Dunvegan Castle and burning of a replica Viking longship. Starts at 7pm.
